Julie Reumert is a Voice Teacher Associate at New York Vocal Coaching. As Denmark’s most well-known opera star, Ms. Reumert has sustained national and international acclaim. As a Voice Teacher, she specializes in Opera, Classical Singing, Musical Theater and Pop.
Zac Bradford is proud to be the Director of the Australian studio for New York Vocal Coaching. For several years he was a voice teacher associate at NYVC’s Mid Town Manhattan studio (NYC). During this time he worked extensively with Mr Stoney and other staff at New York Vocal Coaching. Zac is now excited to be bringing the values, energy and successful teachings of New York Vocal Coaching to Australia. He specialises in teaching voice technique, across a wide range of musical genres.
Andy King is a Senior Voice Teacher Associate at New York Vocal Coaching. He specializes in voice technique for Musical Theatre, Pop/Rock/R&B, and Classical. Mr. King’s clients range from professional Music Theatre actors to Professional Pop/Rock/Singer-Songwriters and sacred singers singing professionally in NYC churches and synagogues. He also accompanies and coaches a Musical Theatre class at New York Vocal Coaching.
>Andrea is currently the Music Director & Supervisor of the critically-acclaimed Broadway musical The Band’s Visit. Her other music directing credits include the upcoming musical adaptation of Tootsie, several productions at the Public Theater, two new musicals in Central Park with free Shakespeare in the Park, and premieres at Tony Award-winning regional theaters like the Yale Repertory Theatre; Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA; Dallas Theater Center; and the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Andrea's compositions include the full-length musical Strange Faces and several songs for The Civilians' Let Me Ascertain You series. Her music has been performed at Joe's Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Brendan Houdek is a Voice Teacher Associate at New York Vocal Coaching. Brendan specializes in teaching Pop, Rock, Hard Rock, R&B, and Classical styles. He is also a singing voice rehabilitation specialist, which enables him to provide healing to injured singers and proper technique to avoid injury in healthy singers.
Kristy Bissell is a Voice Teacher Associate at New York Vocal Coaching. Ms. Bissel specializes in teaching Contemporary Commercial Music styles such as Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre, and R&B. She holds a Master's of Music in Vocal Pedagogy with a focus on Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM) from Shenandoah University, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Theatre with a Voice Minor from Seton Hill University. She is also a graduate of the CCM Institute where she received her certification in Somatic Voicework under the direction of Jeannette LoVetri. Kristy is also a graduate of the NYVC Voice Teacher Training and Certification Program.
