Kacey Velazquez is a seasoned voice teacher, vocal coach, songwriter, and recording artist from New York City. Kacey works with singers of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced vocalists. Her clients range from passionate hobbyists to professional singers in the music, theatre, and television industries. She specializes in Contemporary styles of music including pop, rock, indie, country, R&B, and soul. Kacey has been involved in the arts her whole life. By age thirteen, she was songwriting, recording, and performing her original music at renowned venues in New York City including The Bitter End, 54 Below, The Cutting Room, The Astor Room, and the St. George Theatre.
In addition to over a decade of multi-genre voice instruction, Kacey studied vocal performance at the esteemed LaGuardia High School in Manhattan. Kacey continued to study voice and songwriting at Berklee College of Music, and graduated with a degree in Music Business. She also completed songwriting and music business intensives at NYU Steinhardt and NYU Tisch.
Kacey moved to Nashville in 2017 and worked in various areas of the music industry including marketing, A&R, publishing, and artist management at companies such as Big Machine Label Group and BMG. Throughout her time in Nashville, she wrote and collaborated on hundreds of songs and performed at acclaimed local venues including The Listening Room and The High Watt.
Kacey is also a successful recording artist (see Kacey V), having released music that has amassed thousands of streams across all platforms and garnered praise from fans to industry veterans alike.
In 2018, Kacey completed New York Vocal Coaching’s Voice Teacher Training & Certification. She continues to collaborate on projects with NYVC founder Justin Stoney and serve the singing community around the world.
