New York Vocal Coaching was established in 2005 by leading vocal technician Justin Stoney. We firmly believe that everyone can — and was meant to — sing and make music. Our renowned vocal coaches and staff members execute our vision every day.

Becky is thrilled to be on the team as the Executive Assistant at New York Vocal Coaching. Originally a Pittsburgh native, Becky attended the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.

Manny Cooner has been a part of the New York Vocal Coaching family from the very beginning. His extensive training and expertise as a Customer Relations Specialist has served to put many singers at ease and has assisted them being at their vocal best.
Miles’s love of language began early, inspired by his mother’s work as a high school English teacher and his exposure to text, story, and performance from a young age. That curiosity has only grown over time and continues to inform his work as a coach today.
Miles majored in Theater Studies at Yale University, where he focused on global theatrical practices and the role of the collective unconscious in shaping story archetypes. He also received an MFA in Acting from The Juilliard School, a training program that emphasizes vocal production, clarity of speech, and maintaining an easeful, dynamic instrument. Together, these experiences allow Miles to blend theory and practice into a comprehensive coaching style that helps clients better understand both their voice and their learning process.
As a coach, Miles draws on his experience as a professional actor to support clients in finding ease under pressure, alleviating performance anxiety, and communicating with authenticity and connection. He has performed on Broadway in The Book of Mormon and toured nationally in the First National Tour of Jersey Boys. His on-screen credits include Your Friends and Neighbors (Apple TV+), Elsbeth on CBS, and Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film Disclosure Day.
